斐太 (Hida)
The historical Hida Village in Myoko, Niigata is a great place to go to admire the Hida Shrine, a place where medicine for paralysis was made thousands of years ago. It is also famous for a 500 year old Zelkova Tree, considered by locals as a deity. There is also a museum displaying the earthenware vessels of the Hida Ruins and the Mangoro Old Tomb.
